We all experience God in different ways and are called to do different things in His name. Since my original diagnosis in 2007 He has used this to open conversations and to show people how much He loves us. I have walked along side and been a support to family and friends, as well as been supported; I wouldnt've asked for cancer but, I wouldn't change what He is using it for, for anything. This is what God and I are working on now, the aftermath.

"This must be a good sign!"
I had my blood work done today and my platelet count has gone up 5 points so that's awesome. Still a bit low but I think it's enough that I can go on the retreat. I'm still waiting for the official verdict and it is likely they will want to see Fridays results before giving me a final decision so I will continue doing what I do best.. Wait...uggghhhhhh!!!

Wonderful news! Please give Alex an extra special hug (as much as you can) from us. It must be very difficult having your birthday somewhat overshadowed by "Mum's medical needs". We'll continue praying for both of you.
